The key to weight loss for me is being organized and prepared. When I set out on my final weight loss journey, I knew I needed to have the right tools ready to go in order to be successful.
To be organized, I like to have lots of charts, processes, and easy to use templates. Data is the key to my success. When I'm struggling or am up a few pounds, I go back and look through my notes and charts to see what might be causing it. I'll look back over time to see when a similar situation might have happened to better understand it. I can then (re)use the knowledge I gained previously instead of trying to re-create the wheel.
Processes work for me because they help keep me on track. They also remind me that I know how to do this. I lost 70 pounds by using these same templates, charts, and recipes and will continue to do so forever.
